There is only one game left, and it is the biggest game of the year. One last game for the college football national championship. It's go time for LSU and Clemson.

Two Tigers from two Death Valleys are about to square off in the Superdome. It's another huge game in the Big Easy. And it will be a game for the ages.

LSU

Joe Burrow, Joe Burrow, Joe Burrow. He's the Heisman Trophy winner, he makes the car go. He has been huge for the Tigers all year. And you can expect another big game from him here. He has a phenomenal set of receivers to throw to, making his job a lot easier.

Clemson

The defense has gotten a lot of the credit for Clemson, and deservedly so. They are the #1 defense in the country. Trevor Lawrence ain't bad, neither. He has an excellent set of receivers, and Travis Etienne makes sure there are no bad options for Clemson.

The Pick

Clemson has been my pick all year, and I see nothing to change my mind. LSU is a fantastic team, but defense wins championships. Clemson's is the best out there. They will keep the LSU offense contained enough that Clemson will never be quite out of it, even if LSU does go on a run. Then something will fall into place and Clemson will be raising the trophy in LSU's backyard. And LSU is going to spend a long, long time stewing over what could have been.
